Whether as a band leader or ensemble member, Zebulun Barnow has been in the Music business since childhood.
From rap/rock frontman to metal/grunge drummer and prog-rock guitarist to electronica bassist and third-stream keyboard player with all sorts of other musical chairs in between.
He led a nine piece band that only performed television theme songs and founded "B1g T1me", a sit down stage show of Tom Waits' catalogue.
Ten years (and thousands of shows!) were spent with Blue Man Group in Chicago and New York where he played Chapman stick and electric zither.
Chicago Shakespeare Theatre invited him to sing on the soundtrack for their production of "Timon of Athens" which won the Jefferson (Equity) award for best original incidental music for Lindsay Jones.
South Shore Symphony Orchestra toured the People's Republic of China with Zebulun as a percussionist.
His deep interest in voice took him to the center of Asia to study throat singing with national artist Evgeny Saryglar in Tuva.
Going back to 1987, Zebulun has been on dozens of original albums, several of which can be found on all streaming platforms.
He performs on drums, guitar, bass, piano, zither, ukulele, banjo, as well as his own invented instrument called the 'tankophone'.
